About Washington Lodge

Washington Lodge is Maryland's oldest lodge, and was founded in 1770. Being located in Fells Point, we consisted primarily of shipbuilders and merchants. Our lodge was involved in many moments in Maryland and United States history including cornerstone layings of the Washington Memorial in Baltimore and the B&O Railroad. Most of the men who built the USS Constellation were members of Washington Lodge. Take a look at our history page for more details.

Today we are a thriving lodge, with a diverse group of men from all walks of life. We are proud of our history, but are looking forward to a bright future. On that note, Washington Lodge was awarded the Grand Master's Award With Distinction in both 2012 and 2013, which is a testament to our commitment to excellence. We are growing by leaps and bounds, and hold a variety of charity, community service and social events throughout the year. We invite you to contact us and find out more.
